can you practice without an animal?
Absolutely! Animals provide great inspiration for our yoga practice, but the physical presence of one is not required to partake in animal-assisted yoga.
Are your recipes complete and balanced?
No. I create exciting and healthy recipes using ingredients recommended for my dog Waffles by her nutrition team, plus some added dog-friendly ingredients. All of my recipes are healthy meals and snacks, along with some healthier dessert options, but are not meant to be the main food source for your pet. Where did you study Yoga, and what credentials do you have?
RYT-200, I am registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour yoga teacher. I studied at YogaRenew for my 200-hour teacher training and am currently undergoing my 300-hour training through YogaRenew, as well. Upon completion of my current studies along with work experience, my credentials will be updated to RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance.

We start by focusing on the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our pets and ourselves, allowing them to learn through experience how our energy as humans correlates with behaviors that we practice together. As we dive deeper into the art of Animal-Assisted Yoga, we explore movement and mindfulness activities that deepen our bond and provide enrichment for each species involved.
can you practice with any type of animal?
Yes. Our pets share a connection with us, no matter what species they are. This connection is what allows us to find deeper meaning in our yoga practice by sharing the experience and philosophies with them. This kind of bonding can be beneficial for all living souls.
